FIRST EDITION, 32 monochrome photographic plates, folding-map with some printing in red, pp.384, crown 8vo, original maroon cloth, lettered in gilt to backstrip and upper board (Chinese characters to the latter), top edge maroon, tail edge roughtrimmed, fore-edge faintly spotted, a few spots to endpapers, the flyleaf with contemporary ownership inscription and bookplate beneath (Book Society, the Dulac design), dustjacket with browning to backstrip panel, chipped at extremities, short closed tear at head of front flap-fold, very good
