FIRST EDITIONS, illustrated with line-drawings throughout, faint handling mark at foot of title-page in vol. 5, oblong 8vo, original illustrated boards backed with different colours of cloth, backstrips lettered in gilt, gentle fading to that of sixth volume, light edge-rubbing, a couple of volumes with a touch of wear at board-corners, the third volume with a tiny patch of abrasion at bottom corner of upper board, four volumes with ownership inscriptions small bookseller stamps to flyleaves of a couple of other volumes, very light handling marks to the lower boards otherwise, a very good set
