Rare Book
A somewhat rambling, off-hand and jocular celebration of the joys of liberty in England, and the ascendancy of the nation, written in the form of a letter from a youngish man of fashion to an elderly pessimist, who, it appears, had published some 'stiff, dull Lucubrations' the previous November. There is quite a lot on the Treaty of Utrecht, and plenty of names disguised (only slightly) with dashes.Bodley only in ESTC, but COPAC adds 3 others.
