Publisher's Synopsis
It has been said that "There is a price we pay for the life we choose." How we choose to live our life, and our life choices has a direct impact on our quality of life. While it seems that some people can smoke and eat and drink to excess for many years before developing problems while others develop health problems, even when we come from "good stock" and have good genes, the choices we make still affect quality of life to one degree or another. I have seen smokers choose to literally smoke themselves to the grave, while others flat out refuse to quit because the addiction is too strong. I have also witnessed people with serious diseases like diabetes choose to eat to excess because they have made food their God. Others choose to throw caution to the wind and engage in risky sexual behavior that increases the risk of contracting STD's including HIV and more. In this book I will discuss the things in life that can potentially destroy quality of life for an individual and offer suggestions for helping you to strive to maintain a better quality of life.
