Can you write your CV for the coming 20 years? No one can. But when I started my career life in my early twenties, I thought I had a clear road map for the rest of my future. I'll finish my college in 4 years, get the job that best suits my degree, get married, form a family, and climb the ladder of success like I see others did and do around me. But things took a different turn than how I planned them, or envisioned them.
We often have ONE major career goal, because we know our life cannot accommodate several careers in the same time. Despite that, even our ONE career will always be affected by MANY factors and elements, internal and external. These factors affect how we look at our future and dreams. They can look as obstacles, distortions or at least interventions. This only proves one thing: who we become and what we do in this world will never be a straight line. We end up doing what we do because our vocational DNA has grown organically, not in a linear way.
To put it more simply: MANY things have contributed to become the ONE I am.
This book has the unique force to open your eyes and mind to those many things that made you who you are, so that you do not discard any "thing" that has become a "part" of your life, thinking it is a surplus, unnecessary, or even a mistake. You will appreciate the fact that your uniqueness and oneness come as a result of MANY ingredients that were "added" to your existence and being.
In order to contribute to this world in a unique way, to make a true difference, and leave an unparalleled impact, there is only ONE way. And that way is to be "The One And Only". The good news is: you actually ARE "The One And Only". All that's left for you to do is discover "how" you are the OAO, and then live like a OAO.
