Jamal Williams was this close to living his best life, finally securing the last available apartment. But thanks to a colossal screw-up by the apartment manager, Jamal's dreams are instantly derailed: he now has to share his space with Jonathan Wilkerson, a dorky white guy who's anything but Jamal's ideal roommate. Adding insult to injury, the manager responsible for this mess is also Black, leaving Jamal questioning everything he thought he knew about who's against him. With no other options, Jamal is forced to navigate the hilarious, often maddening, realities of cohabitation with an unexpected stranger. It's either make it work, or both of them are out on the street. But no one said he had to make it easy for the white man, after all, he was here first.
