Publisher's Synopsis
Fear is strong. But so are we.
For Marlow Preston, nothing feels certain: her mother's new relationship, her father's promises, the meaning of the violent thoughts that bombard her mind. . . On that front, at least, she's finding answers. With her recent diagnosis of OCD, she finally feels some of the certainty she's been chasing. At a local support group, she even finds like-minded people who understand her unique challenges-and Teddy, the insufferable boy who brings his little sister. Despite their mutual dislike of one another, they become unlikely allies as the two of them-with an ounce of spite-push each other to overcome their fears. But even with the work she does to improve her anxiety, the problems at home only increase. As the bad feelings between her and Teddy dissipate, however, she may find he's the one person she needs to help her get through-and just maybe the one person she wants. And with her growing support system beside her, maybe she'll even see that certainty isn't worth the chase.
