This book concentrates not on job facts but on the feel of the job, the lifestyle and social relationships it may entail and, in very personal terms, what it might mean to you to do that job. There is an equal emphasis on the good things and the bad, and on what people say they like and dislike about doing a particular job. The book aims to provoke thought and discussion, raise issues which might otherwise be ignored and encourage a "different" kind of comparison between one occupation and another. All the worksheets are copyright free to the purchasing teacher. Fifty occupations are featured, most of which can be entered by people with little or no formal qualifications.
