The title for this volume, 'Everything We Need', has an extravagant ring to it. Yet when Peter coined the phrase in his second letter, he was echoing his Master's promise of a full life (John 10:10), endorsing the ministry of the Holy Spirit and restating Paul's assurances concerning God's provision for his people (Phil 4:19). God made many 'very great and precious promises' which guarantee that we have everything we need for life.
