Although born into a refugee family, from a young age he knew who he was, to whom he belonged and where he was going. 'I came from the Father - I am going to the Father,' he said (John 17). His mission while on earth was to make the way to the Father known. As we journey with Jesus towards Jerusalem during this Lent and Easter period, we discover that we too are on a journey towards home.
Our Easter journey takes us through the book of Ruth, the letter of James, further chapters in the Gospel of Mark, Psalms, the subject of prayer and the Beatitudes.
