Publisher's Synopsis
Not so long ago, we were promised a world full of beauty but the one handed over is a world without mercy. Certain imagery stays with you long after the moments are gone. Mostly, the horrifying ones than their pleasant counterparts. Words without mercy chronicles such moments and ideas, which have stayed with me and found rhythm as poems. While penning them down I felt challenged, unnerved and shaken but in the end, I found liberation. Can anyone ever be truly creative unless they, themselves have suffered irrecoverable loss and incurable pain? I have always wondered. Every artist strives to change the harsh reality in his or her own humble way. Be it words, paintings, music, any form of art, which rebels against the established norms, which do not fit the morality of the new times. If they do not do justice to the time, they lived in then the present will be miserable beyond imagination.Unfortunately, we are living in such times. Fortunately, we are the artists.
