The WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT HOUR Offers Christian leaders a practical, interactive and scripturally based program designed to help exhort the gifts of power and love within women. God's daughters are equipped to bring life to a shattered world However, we are so often overwhelmed by the pain of our past, responsibilities of the present and fears of our future that we never reach God's complete purpose for our existence. This Program establishes a forum to address most of the issues and concerns impacting a woman's personal and professional life. Through interactive sharing and the use of current resources, positive options and resolutions are uncovered. Participants experience a self actualizing energy which enables them to obtain desired changes. A major success of this program is the long term establishment of a network of relationships, knowledge and resources that support and strengthen the women who have participated. Their families' communities and churches greatly benefit from the reclaimed power within these mothers, daughters, sisters, wives and leaders. Brenda Joyce Dawson, a forty year merited educator, public servant and lay minister is recognized as an "unsung heroine". Her directed path has brought comfort and hope to many, especially those who are often overlooked or disenfranchised. For the past seven years as founder and president of I AM Ministries of Miami-Dade/Broward; she has directed services and programs to emphasize and reclaim the value of the family unit. Her passion is expressed through her many accomplishments involving women and teenage girls. This native of Miami, Florida has been married to her high school sweetheart for forty-five years and is the mother of two adult children and grandmother of four. She is a compassionate lady who believes "everyone who finds the power of love within will always leave what they found better than it was before."
