The following Report on Women in Trade Unions is the result of an Enquiry made by a joint-committee of the Labour Research Department and the Fabian Women's Group. The Report was unanimously adopted by the Committee, but the opinions expressed in it do not necessarily represent the views. Of the members, either individually or collectively, and only those of the writer. The thanks of the Committee are especially due to Miss Lilian Dawson, who was responsible for the main burden of Secretarial work involved by the Enquiry, and for the preparation of the clerks' section of the Report.
