Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from William Conyngham Plunket Fourth Baron Plunket and Sixty-First Archbishop of Dublin: A Memoir
IT is usually thought well that a biography should be brought out with as little delay as possible.
It is not, however, altogether to be regretted that this book will not be published until nearly four years after the Archbishop's death.
During that time it is surely not too much to hope that the party bitterness which was called out by some of his best known work may have given place to a calmer judgment and more charitable spirit.
