Akbar's poetry is simple, deeply communicative with the contemporary world, and universal in its reach. What I admire most is the simplicity of expression in these poems. A positive attitude is another defining quality. At a time when the world fears another war, Akbar writes, "Will turn hell into paradise, just wait!" He wishes for a life "silent like love and detached like God."
