Publisher's Synopsis
Text in German. Modern drama also works with elements in the linguistic and structural area that are repeated and thus make meanings visible to the audience - especially in the context of theater productions. The volume analyzes works by Elfriede Jelinek, Lothar Trolle, Christoph Schlingensief, Martin Crimp, Roland Schimmelpfennig, Robert Kusmirowski and the participants in the Rimini Protocol. In these, the contributions are able to expose a variety of structures that can be described as such repetitions. In doing so, they introduce the productive tension of the realization of texts on the theater stage with a view to the drama.
