Publisher's Synopsis
Raegan knows what she wants. After having a child with Ezekial "Zeek" Newman, who she'd thought was the love her life, Raegan was more than ready to settle down. Problem is, Zeek isn't ready to commit to her or anyone for that matter. Feeling pressured to do something that he's unsure how to do, Zeek falls back from Raegan, leaving room for Diesel to step in. Though Diesel and Raegan's initial meeting is thwarted by Zeek's crazy and possessive behavior, it doesn't stop the pair of beginning a friendship that soon blossoms into more. Seeing the woman he loves with another man doesn't sit well with Zeek and he vows to try and make things work with Raegan. But will it be too late? Hope is engaged to Zeek's brother, Xavier "Freak" Newman and she couldn't be happier. Freak is madly in love with his woman and is even willing to get out of the game in order to start their family and live their lives free from worry. But challenges eventually present themselves, that may ultimately cause their relationship to falter. A previous relationship has left Hope scared for life and the baby that Freak so desperately wants to complete their family, may not be possible. Keeping the secret to herself, Hope continues to pray for a miracle but when she starts getting weird, cryptic messages about the incident that left her barren, Hope begins to think that maybe a baby just isn't in the cards...but where does that leave Hope ad Freak's relationship? These couples deal with everyday relationship struggles and must make some hard decisions that will greatly impact the fate of their futures. Will they come out unscathed, or is someone bound to lose in the end?
