Childminding offers children a close relationship with a single carer, the child often a part of a small group of children, in a home environment based in the child's own community.;Childminding support, in terms of training, networks and resources is crucial not only for childminders themselves but also for the quality of care they are able to offer children and families.;This booklet sets out the development and progress of childminding support in Manchester, brought about through a partnership between Save the Children, Manchester City Council and Manchester City Childminding Association.
