Born in the sixteenth century, ten year old Dominic is turned into a Vampire as he watches his home burn to the ground. He is asked by his Elders to write a journal of his life. He is able to read other journals and must piece together the secrets they contain before his thousand year life is over. unknown to him he must fit the pieces together otherwise all vampires will die when he does. He thirst for more power is quenched as he reads and starts to figure out the secrets that each book contains.
