On vacation for the first time in years, reporter Emma Frost is climbing over the jagged foothills of the Irish countryside when she sees something that turns her blood to ice. Police believe local florist, Bridget Callaghan, must have fallen and hit her head on a sharp rock. And her worst fear is confirmed when the body of another young girl is found, bent and broken at the bottom of a waterfall, a rose pressed between her lips.
