Before Edgar can meet the committee, Burns lights up a fat cigar and begins to explain pertinent details about The Faction and an elaborate plan called Tentacles.Enter Mizuki, the Old Man's sultry Mistress. During her brief visit to the office, Edgar is smitten; and the visit is telling: the plot has something deeper it's hiding. In the beginning, Tentacles sounds brilliant to Edgar. However, when Burns reaches a part of Phase Three in the discussion, Edgar isn't able to wrap his mind around it. "Sir, surely they are fooling you with sleight of hand, illusions or something..."Offended by Edgar's lack of trust, Mr. Burns chooses to assert his power to provide clear evidence.
