Publisher's Synopsis
Nature deals dawn and death, both are natural. Enter humans--the balance tilts. Our natural animality, neocortexted with a natural mentality, has acted unnaturally against ourselves and our mothering nature. We have created a brilliant society that is also self-destructive. Darker poems scream at these problems, but suggest too few solutions. Since we are problem and solution, some painfully autobiographical poems might be metaphorically informative. Now that's way too much philosophy for a book of poetry that hopefully uplifts us from our own making.
