Loofs examines the historical and theological debates surrounding the nature of Jesus Christ, drawing on the teachings of the early church fathers as well as modern scholarship. He argues that a historical understanding of Jesus is necessary to fully appreciate his divine significance, and that the traditional Christological doctrines need to be reexamined in light of this understanding.
