Publisher's Synopsis
Seven-year-old Lucas Andrews-Marcotte is not happy. His family is moving from their comfortable home in Toronto to the small city of Brantford to be closer to his dad's book publisher. Lucas thinks it's a Very Bad Idea but even his brother and sister, Dylan and Hailey, are excited! No one is listening to Lucas.Once they arrive in Brantford, things look a bit brighter. Their new house is bigger than their old house, with a pool and even room for a trampoline! But it is still a lot of change for Lucas, and no one seems to care how he feels about any of it. When the family goes to Lion's Park on Canada Day for the city's celebrations, no one has time for Lucas: his dad is working his book table, Hailey is gone with her friend, Dylan is distracted by a girl, and even his mom and aunt seem to care more about the vendors than taking him on rides! Lucas is tired of not being heard. He's going to do what Lucas wants to do-what could go wrong? What About Lucas? is the third installment in the What About? series.
