Publisher's Synopsis
This book of poetry, We Come From Trees, contains 47 poems that investigate why we're here, who we are, the difficulties that come with navigating our very human lifetimes, fallible and faith-driven, and the mystery and power that guides and surrounds us all. These poems, like most music, art, and invention, have, as their source, a refined and holy place beyond the mind and life of, in this case, the writer herself. As such, they surprise at times. At least they surprised me when they began to arrive, often fully formed, and insisting on being recorded and published with the goal of touching minds and moving hearts. I believe that they have the power to connect readers to their spiritual core and to the source from which they arose. I also believe that these poems are healing, uplifting, and serve a higher purpose.
