Publisher's Synopsis
Water from the Desert is born out of respect and admiration for the ancient monks who made the desert provide water and quench the thirst of souls from the heat of ignorance, but at the same time, it reflects love and faith towards today's champions of our Church, the tireless seekers of the angelic state. It will fulfil its primary purpose if it conveys to contemporary monks, through the great figures of their ancient teachers, who shone with asceticism and missionary work, the call for help from those among their fellow brethren who are currently struggling in the spiritually barren countries of Christ, governing the faith there and not ceasing to snatch souls from the hands of the adversary, for whom "Christ died."
