The main Object of these reports is to show the changes in wage rates and in hours dur ing the periods covered. In eaeh report the figures given eonstitute as far as is possible a continuous record and in each instance throughout the report the figures are from the same source, continuity being thereby assured within reasonable limits. Information is se cured f ro-m representative employers, from labour organizations and from industrial agree ments each year.
