Publisher's Synopsis
Poetry from an African and African American perspective. The experience of life, love and literature. Because we are an oppressed people politically, socially and economically we strive to break the chains, the bondage that springs from the social production system, this system we call capitalism. This system has its roots in slavery and the middle passage. If the author lacks artistic and educational skill he hopes you will forgive him. He knows he is a product of his environment. He hopes the content of his word will convince you and build in you a desire to struggle against the oppression of modern finance capitalism. He hopes you will stand up and fight the racism of this age and struggle to make a better world for our children.
