As Vampirita attempts to adjust to her new life in Sunny City, she is horrified to learn that everyone's parents will be invited to Spectacular Career Day. When she lies that her father can't attend because he's a fearsome vampire lord, she must find a way to make sure her parents never hear about the event. But when her mother discovers the invitation and her father discovers Vampirita doesn't want him to attend because he's "only a non-vampire musician," Vampirita is shocked to learn that her dad is far more powerful than she ever imagined.
