Publisher's Synopsis
Our era is one of rapid development in the field of science and technology. While on the one hand, we are the drivers of this development; on the other hand, we seem to ignore where it is taking us. In the center of these rapid and constant changes, most human beings are developing a strong love for material, to the detriment of certain existential values. Thus, on this path of non-stop development driven by progress in science and technology, everyone is trying to seek his/her own well-being while ignoring the flaw it is creating in mankind. We are unable to protect or cultivate the most important universal virtues; instead, we selfishly, pursue our own interests. It is true that nature is its own entity, but since we are the product of this entity, we are intrinsically related to it. Certain natural rules or laws are unbreakable and irrevocable. If broken, the culprit should undergo the consequences of his/her misdeeds.Aware of this fact, the author of this book has described certain types of friendship in depth. The two main characters are what should be called best friends, with a bit of African flavor. In this science-fiction, with certain philosophical elements, the author has pointed out how best friends once were, an idea which seems to have vanished in our era.The author has also painted the opposite of what most people think. While most people think about the final judgement after death, this author thinks that we should behave well during our lifetime, because each of us must consume the fruits of our deeds. Good or bad, we are responsible for our actions, and we must undergo the consequences before death. That is the law of nature. Nature is not unjust. That is why there is an African proverb which says God does not take credit, but pays credit. Therefore, the characters in this book who have broken certain natural laws, willingly or otherwise, have paid in one way or in another.
