Bennett, of the 11mm, has been sued by Mr. James F. Cummings, a Southerner, who is 8 claim to the modest sum of $300, damages. Bennett printed an article accusing Cummings of swindling the rebel Government, and calling him a delicious scamp the best way you could fix him, and his answer is that he intends to prove it.
