This book-its letters-represents my father's view of D-day and his adventures, typed in many cases from a foxhole. David Hull earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University. He was instrumental in the construction of Saint David's, an episcopal church in Cranston, Rhode Island. A treasurer for the Victor Ring Traveler Co. in Providence, Rhode Island-David Hull was a crackerjack individual who earned, among other medals, a silver star and two gold stars. He met the Nazis where they were and contributed to their ultimate demise. This collection of letters gives one a taste of World War II, a glimpse of the nature of a soldier in those times, and a glimpse into what makes America great.
