In 2001, I was estranged from my abusive husband and with God had finally created the means to financially support my children. What started out as a legitimate income tax filing business somehow turned into a house of cards. One day the friendly smiles and innocent questions from employees as to how I ran my business became more. My good intentions became twisted by others actions. I had no idea that I'd be caught up in a web of lies and faced with betrayal a few years later from those I considered friends so close, they were family. Wolves come to devour, and I was ripe for the picking. When did the web of lies start? How did things go from black and white to various shades of grey? When did the greed of others lead to betrayal and the start of my downfall? From running and hiding from the Federal Marshals, working for hours on end to cover my tracks and protect my children, and finally ending up in prison based partly on the lies of others not able to hold their own weight; as well as my own actions. I went from building myself up from the ground; having it all; to eventually losing what I had built as I watched my hard work and dedication go up in smoke. Only to emerge from the ashes by God's Grace! I am Jacqueline Kennedy, indicted as part of what the United States Government has label as "one of the largest fictitious employer unemployment fraud scheme to ever be prosecuted" that was $8.7 million dollars spanning several states. I've been a Victim. Labeled a Villain. But I am emerging Victorious. This is my story.
