Space is a very dangerous place these days. A galactic war is approaching. Stat Sengar finds himself being chased across the galaxy by a ruthless unit of his homeland's perennial enemy. With his prototype starship sputtering, his only option is an emergency landing on a nearby planet. With the help of a local myth, Stat manages to convince a family to disregard their own safety and provide him refuge. Unfortunately, Stat quickly realizes that his sanctuary has its own perils. His mental and physical capacity is pushed to the limit by indigenous beasts, insects and government authorities. As Stat struggles to repair his starship and his hope for a rescue slowly fades, he begins to adjust to the beauty of his new home and the hard work involved with a livestock operation. These peaceful and relaxing times are all too often interrupted by adrenaline pumping events and cultural miscues. Slowly, Stat develops a deep friendship with his host family; a relationship that is surprising, wonderful, and absolutely essential for the grave dangers that lie ahead.
