Witness - I am not aware what Mr. White was doing. All I know is that Mr. Harris was the Gen eral Manager for the Company, and that he was sup posed to make the contract for the english-canadian Company, which he did.
Q. 374. And the answer that White bought this dredge of Hammond, is that true? Would you refer to pages 15-11 to 1514? The agreement is not signed by Mr. White, but by Mr. Harris.
Q. 375. That is the contract for the dredge? That is the contract for the dredge, and I put in a triplicate original copy of this very same agreement on which it will be noted that Mr. Harris signed it himself and not Mr. White.
