One day, a visit with her parents, forced her to tell the truth about her enduring rape and beatings. Unchained tells a story of a woman that has built an innate resilience and tenacity to pursue her dreams. Along this journey she realizes that she looks out for others before she looks out for herself. To become unchained from co-dependency, she learns to cope and unravel the dysfunction of relationships that were keeping her from achieving her dreams and aspirations.
