Publisher's Synopsis
This is the story of a very polite little wolf. His parents taught him to treat others with courtesy. One day, he goes to the forest to hunt for the first time and traps a rabbit. When he's ready to devour it, the rabbit asks him to read him a story. The polite wolf goes home to get a book. When he comes back, the rabbit is gone. So he hunts a hen who pulls the same trick: she requests a song and manages to escape. How rude! Why don't they keep their promises? In the end, the saying proves true: he who laughs last laughs best.
