Not everyone has the talent for power. Those who do are called Gifted. Cedika Heiko is a young man without any Gift, disillusioned by his boring life, and numb to the volatile world around him. Tragedy strikes, and a mysterious woman claiming to be the Rose's Goddess of Darkness offers him power at the price of loyalty.
