Publisher's Synopsis
The life tables in this report are current life tables for Arizona based on age-specific death rates for the period 1989-91. With the exception of those for ages 95 years and over (and to a lesser extent those for ages 85-94 years), the death rates were calculated using data from the 1990 census of population and deaths occurring in the United States to residents of Arizona in the 3 years 1989-91. Other publications in this decennial series present life tables for the United States and the other individual States. Generally, these reports show life tables calculated for the white population, the population other than white, and the black population separately by sex and for both sexes combined.
