Is it not more than justice, and is it not overwhelmingly our duty - and will not the shades of our ancestors cry to us to-day will not posterity tax our memory if we do not exert ourselves to preserve the Union which our glorious ancestors handed to us, and in the' way that it may run on as it has run for the last cen tury in its glorious career? And we trust it will go on prosper ing and to prosper. [cheers.
