Publisher's Synopsis
Three seemingly unrelated crimes are committed. The victims include an attorney from Texas, a teacher in Wisconsin and a swim instructor from Washington. A strange bit of evidence is left at each crime scene, which links them together. Stephanie Quinlan, the only child of the murdered teacher, is an accomplished motivational speaker and author, and is engaged to a successful young businessman. When she gets word of her mother's murder, she puts her life on hold and goes on a quest to find the killer. This brings her closer to an answer, but at the same time, brings her dangerously close to an unknown entity.
