Publisher's Synopsis
Trisha Reynolds is starting to realize the notion that she will soon be
an Empty Nester. Her last child Cynthia will be in college soon. Trisha already feels
lonely and depressed most of the time. The thought of both of her children being
gone is just too much to bare. Life will deal Trisha a happy blow. A tropical storm
will send her beloved relatives to stay with her. Trisha is particularly excited about
her favorite cousin Keisha arriving with her 3-month-old baby boy. Unfortunately,
the weather isn't the only storm that is brewing. So much tragedy will erupt
within this small family. Some will lose property and employment, and lives will
be forever changed. Someone will make a poor judgment call that will end a life.
Trisha will find heartbreak. She will have to redirect her life to save her sanity.
How will she be able to trust again? Her faith will be tested. Her cousin Keisha will
find love but is it real? Keisha will deal with her private demons as she makes life
choices. The other family members will wrestle with their problems. No one will
be able to see the troubles that lie ahead.
