That the condition of the State Museum of N atural History and the work of the past year are exhibited in the reports of the Director and Botanist herewith communicated. They show a, gratifying progress in investigations, additions and arrangement. The collections, as exhibiting the results of the geological survey of the State, have always been regarded as of great value, and this is largely increased by additions gathered from beyond its limits. The reports on the Museum are earnestlysought by students of science and investigators, both in this country and in Europe. The Regents ask that the same number of Copies of this report be ordered printed as have been those of former years.
