Most guests at this small privately-owned hotel come and go leaving little impression one way or the other of their presence, their absence, their departure, their return; they are good guests. But there are others, bad guests, who make their mark as soon as they arrive and leave it behind to smolder in the hallways long after their departure. By nature they are rude and unbearable. Most of them are demanding, some are dilettante criminals, and the rest are just plain absolutely undeniably insane.
