"Treasure in Clay Jars" is a collection of resources designed to encourage Christians to come together in prayer for the greater visible unity of Christ's Church. The text and theme for 2003 is taken from 2 Corinthians 4:7 and the resources provide for daily reflection plus an ecumenical worship service. The week of prayer for Christian unity is traditionally held between 18th and 25th January, though churches are free to observe the week at any time of the year. Indeed, in the southern hemisphere, Christians often observe a week in June close to Pentecost as their week of prayer.;The English pamplet contains reflections for each day of the week and the ecumenical worship service. The A2-sized poster can be used to promote the week of prayer at your church, providing space to fill in the details at the bottom of the poster, and the resource book provides guidance on holding a week of prayer and contains prayers, stories and activities.
