Travelling is a Brutality follows the real adventure of Dave as he explores Asia like a distraction on the route to Mexico and uses it as an opportunity to learn from and witness the beauty there. Throughout Travelling is a Brutality, Dave is chasing Mexico, allowing his imagination to explode with possibilities, whilst both escaping from and embracing Time throughout the novel. It is a love letter to Mexico building up the fragments of potential in a young man's mind.
