The main aim of this work is to offer an innovative approach to training young people who are disadvantaged or have special needs - those with learning difficulties, behavioural or employment problems, troubled family backgrounds or problems with offending. It provides trainers and scheme managers with various strategies and practical examples, designed to improve existing programmes for young people with problems or difficulties.
