Publisher's Synopsis
It was a black day for the small town of Lagos. First the bank had been robbed and a teller killed, then a stranger, Tom Brenner, rode in with the corpse of the much-loved Charlie Bennett on his horse. A posse was formed, but no trace of the robbers was found and suspicion fell on Brenner. There were just too many things about this mysterious stranger that didn't add up. If Tom was to clear his name and help catch the killers, he would need all his skills - for death was around every corner.
