When Australian heiress Alexandra Wainwright, Alex to her family and friends, meets seventh in line to the British throne, David, at a party, she is far from impressed. Declaring him an alcoholic stalker she sets out to ignore him, but he only ups the ante. After he wins the bet-one she instigates-she reluctantly agrees to go on a date which is the beginning of a flourishing relationship. Although not use to anything royal, Alex struggles to fit in with his royal-duty lifestyle. Getting to remain herself is harder the more she mingles with his family.
