The text of the Tosefta is based on the first print with variants from manuscripts, accompanied by the commentary 'Toledot Yizhak' by Rabbi Isaac Halevi of Lemgo, chief rabbi of Groningen, Holland (1748-1800). Published for the first time from a Rosenthaliana manuscript (autograph), with a scholarly introduction, subject index, source notes and explanations. The introduction deals with the Life and Times of Rabbi Isaac Halevi of Lemgo and his monumental commentary to Tosefta: 'Toledot Yizhak' (still in manuscript).
